The day of surgery

After a general anaesthetic you need an adult to drive you home and stay with you for the first 24 hours. Liposuction is not a weight-loss treatment: it takes away stubborn pockets of fat at a steady weight. It won't shift cellulite or stretch marks, and it doesn't tighten loose skin.
