Euro, the full price for the procedure. Our guide, not a quote: the surgeon prices it after examining you.

Why two Dublin quotes can be thousands apart
A day clinic doing one area under local anaesthetic, often with vaser, starts at €2,200 to €2,500. A private hospital with a general anaesthetic and an overnight bed sits nearer €4,500 for a single area. Neither is wrong; they're different operations, and the right one depends on how much fat there is and where.
After the setting, it's the number of areas. Two or three areas in one session cost less than separate operations, which is why stomach and love handles together (€3,000 to €7,000) is the most common combination.
The consultation
Dublin consultations cost €195 to €200 where they're charged; some clinics offer a free first consultation, sometimes by video. Many take the fee off the price if you go ahead. Bring your questions list.
Insurance, tax and paying
Health insurance plans in Ireland normally exclude cosmetic surgery, and Revenue gives no tax relief on it unless it corrects a health issue. Some clinics offer monthly payment plans through a finance company: check the APR and the total repaid, and never sign on the day of the consultation.
Questions
Is liposuction cheaper outside Dublin?
Not much. Prices around Ireland sit in the same range; the setting and the surgeon matter more than the county.
What's included in a Dublin liposuction price?
Usually the surgeon, the theatre or hospital, the anaesthetic, your compression garment and the check-ups. Ask for that list in writing.
Do Dublin clinics charge for the consultation?
Some do, €195 to €200; others offer the first one free.
